i got a Dean from hell dimebag guitar, This dude wants to trade me his jackson soloist slsmg. that a good trade?? I do not know how the jackson plays, looks sweet.

I'm not too familiar with either guitar. I think the Jackson you mention is a neck-thru MIJ out of mahogany. Does the Jackson have an ebony fretboard with phirana teeth? Check for fretboard cracks from the ebony drying out. -

A used SLSMG typically sells for about $5-600 unless it has one of the rarer transparent finishes. Which finish and pickups does this guy's SLSMG have? The original version was satin black and had EMG-Hz pickups. Those typically go for about $450 now. The later ones with gloss finishes and active EMGs will sell for a bit more.Comment

i had a trans red SLSMG and it was an amazing playing guitar. i am NOT a fan of MIJ jacksons, but that SLSMG was killer. it was mahogany neck-thru. mine had SD custom 5 and SD '59 zebra pick-ups.GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!Comment

i love them both, the dean plays awesome, one of thee best Ive played for a forgien guitar, plus its from my hero dimebag, I got it cuz of him. Jacksons are sweet guitars too, I think the slsmg has the emghz's in it, If I were to trade Id would rather have something with a floyd.I love guitars, Always have and always will.Comment
