The prudes may snub them, but I don't care.
I dont need furniture.
If its tough, shreds, and screams, Its all good.
If it gets jacked, I'll get another one.
And rock that sucker.
Hell yes the pot up grade kit made a huge difference.
Took away all the mud and gave it a more open clear tone tons of string deffinition.
I used the RS vintage caps in this one to take some of the high end out due to the ash body. The pots are the RS super pots 520k on the vol 480k tone on the bridge,515k vol and 480k tone on the neck.
The pick ups are very PAF-ish 8.5k bridge and 8.0k neck
It sounds warm and creamy now. Before it was choked and thin sounding.
One day I will have an Aria Pro SG. Hard to find, but I will.
The white guitar on the right. It's actually a "Blitz by Aria Pro II", sort of like a "Squier by Fender". Bought it new for $148, swapped the bridge PU to a Duncan Custom, simplified the controls to a single volume knob, placed bolts in the extra holes, and changed the position of the PU selector (this required me to enlarge the hole which originally had the tone knob, but I had no qualms about doing so, because it was such a cheap guitar).

When did you buy it? What year model? Is it set neck?

Set maple neck and alder body (I think that prior to 2008 they were mahogany).
As these guitars are (carelessly) made in China, I would not recommend them for discerning players unless they know how/like to tinker with their guitars. In addition to the mods that I listed in my previous post, I had to glue one of the bushings for the tailpiece anchors into the wood, as I noticed that it was loose in the hole when I was adjusting the height of the tailpiece.
The non user adjustable (and probably CNC controlled) aspects of the build were up to par. The neck angle is spot on, fret ends aren't sharp, and the binding is well done.

I've only had the old Japan Aria Pro's. Understand the Matsumoku plant burned in 88 and After that they moved production to Korea/China.
I'll have to check one out. Whats the neck profile like?
I had to glue both trem inserts on my Charvel Model 2.
