I could just reach in my pants... $500 cheaper and a lot more fun.

Just to be clear, the ad states the finish is for "bodies only - no necks". Does that include headstocks as well?

It may take some research at the local geriatric community care, but just for you bro, I will get some rubber gloves and a helmet and get busy.

I could do the head stocks, but there would be tolerances involved due to thickness of materials. I could use a masking template to protect around the washers and such.

Have you considered offering bodies "ready to go" with this finish option as well maybe Mike?

I have considered doing bodies prefinished, but honestly, there are so many options that people would want that it wouldn't be practical financially for me to stock so much hoping to find someone who wanted exactly the way the specs were on them.

Yeah I guess we could just ask you for a quote on an Icon body with a boa pattern if we were interested.

Cool finish for sure! You should get Charvel to buy the process off you to use on the Warren D snakeys so they'd be closer to the original.

                      I would agree.

How does the finish react with forearm sweat/perspiration? Does it absorb it or is it scotch-guarded or something?

                          Larz,
It is moisture resistant just like any other paint finish.

                            Mike-

                            One last question...

What does it taste like?

                              Chicken. But smells like fish.

Great concept Mike! But I'm more likely to look for someone to apply real snakeskin ala that Charvel (or whatever it was) that's been floating around here for years. Why go to all that trouble to produce an imitation? Unless it's imitation human skin of course, even I can see the potential issues with that.
