Here is my Buddy Blaze Fubar also....this is a wicked guitar. Buddy told me that there is 6 of these, 2 non Relic's & 4 Relic's. Mine is # 4 ! You guys should check his website out, he has some cool stuff.
Myself & my good friend Buddy Blaze showing off my new Evanator Jr. Custom @ 2010 NAMM
Here is some pix of buddy signing the Proto-type Import K2 model 2 that will be available through the store soon. The imports are incredible & priced right as well.
I met Buddy sometime in the late 80s when Vivian Campbell was endorsing the Nightswan (I always wanted one and just never had the money back then). He was a great guy. He built a Bass for a friend of mine out of rosewood w/gold hardware. It was an awesome bass, heavy as hell, but looked and sounded awesome. It's good to know that he's still around and recognized as the quality Luthier that he is.
Beautiful guitars! I would love to have an Evanator JR Custom, if I could get a traditional inlay pattern I'd like that. I appreciate the difference of the pattern there but not for me. But I have a 1981 Carvin CM130 with added Kahler Pro in natural maple, so that fixes my SuperLPJr. itch pretty well. If he came out with an import version with a normal inlay pattern, that'd more likely fit both my aesthetics and my price range. Congrats man, those are beyond sweet!
Yes Imports! The Street Price is around $700 & they play incredible!
The Yellow K2 that was pictured above with my Evanator JR. is a Import model he just introduced @ NAMM. I have 2 Proto type Imports that buddy signed & wrote "Proto" on the back of the Headstock. The imports out play the old nightswans hands down in my opinion. Theyhave Floyd Rose Trem. , Grover tuners & high quality electronics. Great guitars!!!
