Heck people pay good money to get a new guitar that has the finish yours has. Refret it and forget.

I agree. That thing looks pretty rockin' as is.

              I think........

Strip the sides and top, or everything - black back, goldtop w/natural binding. Chrome w/black plastic..... sounds about right, especially if I don't have anything else to do....

If I were the seller, and the guitar is in excellent condition and stock with just the break and I was eager to sell, I would think between $300 and $400 as I could probably part it out for that or more if I was willing to sit on it and part it out.

Do what I did, make the person an offer, see what they counter with, set up a meeting to check the guitar out and feel out the seller, the offer another price and walk if they don't take it. It's usually more on what the buyer wants than what the seller wants.

The fun begins - guitar is stripped - just needs to be sanded and cleaned up a bit. Color suggestions, anyone?

Already have a black one - trying not to duplicate colors

Possibly with faux black body binding. I just sold my Trad Pro Goldtop, so that and red are my top 2 solid color choices.

since you've got a black standard, I'm suggesting gold with black painted binding.
