Here's my baby! I bought this barely used back in 1987 when I was 15. I mowed ALOT of grass to get this thing! Serial number #0040. They call it their "pearl" finish. I've played the frets off this thing but it's still a knock out in my opinion! Enjoy!

It does flip-flop a little. It's got white sparkles in it although it's tough to tell from the pics.
The strings are close to the edge of the neck but I've never had a problem with them slipping off. This thing plays and sounds amazing. It's got a really old Bill Lawerence XL500 pickup. It was in it when I bought it.

I dig the axe too...and I have no problem with pink...just bought a pink strat from Axewielder this week.
Second thing I noticed was that it looks like it's in great condition for being over 20 years old and you playing the frets off of it!

I gave $350 for it out the door. It'd hung on the wall after it was traded in for at least a couple years before I was able to buy it. I don't know what year this thing is but it's old. It had hardly been played when I got it. Alot of people would knock it because of the color when I'd take it out of the case. Once they heard it though they shut up real quick. There's just something about the woods, pickups and who knows what that makes this thing a tone monster. I'd actually bought another one of the same model except it was white and had a rosewood board from my old guitar teacher. Serial number on it was 0020. I had the same model pickup, pots and capacitor put in it so the only difference would be the fretboard. No matter what I did to that guitar though it always sounded dead and was never worthy of the broken strings that would come from this guitar! HA HA!
