  • Ibanez RG 7321 Pickup Wire Colors

I have an Ibanez RG7321 that I was considering selling. The problem is, the guitar isn't wired up. I repainted it some time ago, and long forget the north/south/ground set-up, especially with the Ibanez 8 lead switch.

The pickups to my understanding are AH27 and AH17.

The pickup wire colors are Bare, White, Black, Blue, Red.

Any help or diagram will be greatly appreciated.

I've surfed the net for about 7X as long as it would take to wire it.

red is the hot. Black and white get soldered together and blue and shield arte the ground. Just like dimarzio wiring but the ground is blue instead of green.

Thanks. If red and the bare go to ground, and black and white go together, then Red goes to.

The guitar has a 5 way selector though, for splitting coils and the like.

Do you have any idea how I wire this bad boy up?

ps the selector is an ibanez switch.

The red (hot) goes to the tab for the bridge pup on the switch. Assuming its a blade switch. That tab should be the first one. (closest to the volume pot)

            Those Ibanez pickups aren't listed.
