Custom 5150 Kramer

Hi another one of my projects. Picked up this 5150 body from Musikraft. The wood is Korina. I Oiled the body with Tung Oil then after many coates I added a Blue dye to the oil. It only has 2 coats in the pic's. There is a custom neck, OFR and a Dimarzio Fred pickup with a push/ pull tone, volume pot. Just wanted to do something different to the usual EVH stripes theme.

A wood like Korina should be left natural IMO.

Korina is always a great choice of wood... I like it!

What kind of neck? Maple? Or are you going with Korina for that, too?

The neck is? Dam, I forgot what the wood is. I'll have to check. Its the first neck from the left in the pic's

I have asked for the same type of wood for my Charvel Fusion Special neck that Musikraft is making for me.

Limba is one of my favorite woods... I absolutly love working with it. Nice choice!

Painted this body today, giving it a Black / Pearl paint job.

Test fit then some final coats of clear after some more wet sanding. Color is a Lexus Black / Pearl color.
