    Yeah.

Yes, I own one (Adamas W597) and I love it to death. It's the best acoustic I've ever played. I've been playing Ovations for around 25 yrs. and I wouldn't play anything else. I've never played an acoustic that played as well as my Ovation.

That said, they are generally loved or hated.

        I've had a few,custom Balladeer,Adamas and a few Celebrity modes too.
They are nice guitars but very low resale value kinda like G&L.
The larger boat backs are uncomfortable to play but sound nice.I prefer the shallow bowls.
One thing to look for is the neck joint when buying a used one, the tail end of the fingerboard tends to come unglued from the top making them almost un-playable.
        Really? well screw Mark Twain.

            Custom Legend.
            Models
The prudes may snub them, but I don't care.
            I dont need furniture.
If its tough, shreds, and screams, Its all good.
If it gets jacked, I'll get another one.
            And rock that sucker.

I just got the Shallow Bowl Celebrity 28 at a good price. I have heard these guitars need to be setup, the string height even from the factory is way off.

I have one and it sounds awesome. Although I don't really like the round back.

I have an early 70's deep bowl Balladeer on permanent loan to a friend and one of the last USA made shallow bowl Balladeers. Great guitars for little money.
