Finaly played the guitar loud on Tuesday evening. Just to make everyone understand better: my usual weapons of choice are 2 Godin guitars, one a Signature LG and the other one a Summit CT. Both are all mahogany (body/neck) with a maple figured top. One has a rosewood fretboard, the other one has an ebony. Both have real Duncans (medium/low output) pickups (Custom Custom Custom in one, and the other a 59, I dont remember for the neck PUs).
Played straight into the amp with no band (no other instruments) I tought the Gunslinger sounded a bit dull and more focused in the mids. My 2 Godin sound way warmer and more balanced.
But, when playing with drum and bass, the Gunslinger cuts through with more ease. I had to re-tweak the amp to make the Godin sit in the mix. Even my singer noticed it.
That first test with my band was done at the rehearsal place we rent. I was using the JCM900 half stack (not perfect but not as bad as most internet forums will say). In the coming weeks, I'm planning at least once to bring my JCM2000 DSL50 to see how it sounds as we have a gig coming in May.
As for the Floyd, it is really stable. The string were new from the previous day and I barely retune the guitar after playing a bunch of tune.
I really like my new Gunslinger! It rocks!
For the price these goes, if you are looking for a simple and flashy guitar, get one!

Nice axe!
I always dug the B.C. Rich necks back in the day.
Have yet to play one of these new ones, but all I hear is good things.
Congrats!
Yellow Rocks!

Just installed a "Tremol-No" in it a few minutes ago. Very interesting device and will make that guitar a bit more versatile.
