I'd pbly make more progress on my daydream guitar if I just got a chunk of wood and started making wood chips instead of constant daydreaming and very little CAD/CNC progress. What can I say, too busy during the week and too lazy the rest of the time. lol|My CSG gallery|

I rout humbuckers 3/4" for the actual cavity, and then an additional 1/4" for the mounting screws (if you're using a pickup mounting ring).

I made exactly 3/4" cavity.
there will be no problem to make 1/4" more for screws.
