yep and yep. If it's an NJ series it was made in Japan if it has a kahler trem and if it's floyded it was made at the cort factory in Korea.

NJ is not New Jersey, as many believe. It's Nagano (or is it Nagoya?) Japan.

However, I'm not entirely convinced the entire NJ series was made in Japan. I mean, it's just a series designation.

And don't bash the Korean ones too hard. I played an older 90s model with the reverse 6-inline head and what looks like the shittiest Floyd copy ever (flat baseplate too wide for the saddles) and it was a monster.

Then there was a guy at NAMM in '04 ripping the shit out of a Platinum Series. Rob Marcello was the guy's name.
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Nagoya. And for only a couple years they were made in Japan. I think early 90's they shifted to Korea.

Rob is a monster player and a very nice guy.He works for Roland out of Columbus Ohio last I knew.
He played one I built at a Nashville guitar show and absolutely ripped it up!
