    I highly doubt it.

Here we go with a multipage thread!

He is a complete ass. He will often lie and embellish and there's more rumors/gossip/speculation on him than Area 51. He has become a sweaty myth and probably likes it that way.

His guitars aren't bad. I played a few at NAMM a few years ago. They played well and the fit and finish was good. He has many people build them. Some of the builders are the Pasaye crew from BC South, who built BC Rich's back in the day and still do so today. Some of my friends played some of Paul Crook's at the Digitech room at NAMM and said they felt just like BCR necks. I've also hear of people getting complete crap from him. So inconsistency is his only consistency.

If it plays well and suits your needs, then buy it. Don't expect much on the resale and if you do decide to resell it, expect a bunch of "that f'n guitar that f'n Ed Roman guy that liar and theif..."

          Sweaty, faintly-smells-of-piss myth.

Perry has 5 guitars for sale at the moment, Gibson Custom, Randy Roads, Warrior, and these 2 Quicksilvers. They where pick by Perry on a visit to the USA, they have Ormsby pickups in them.. Just seeing if anyone else has owned or played one?

(I've never smelled him, so I was giving him the benefit of the doubt, but you can just tell he'd at least smell a LITTLE like pee.)

I always imagined pee & baby powder - like granma!

"Roman's" are like a box of chocolates.....ya never know watcha gonna get

but cereal.... if you really have to buy one ,get one of the ones Perry has...he's probably gone over it with a fine tooth comb and your less likely to get screwed..and i speak from experience when dealing with "Ol" Ed

Cheers, I no asking this question would get these responses. Perry did hand pick these 2 guitars and put his hand wound pickups in both. The finish on these are very nice better than the Les Paul I brought last year.

I was going to offer basically the same thing that Venomboy said - I've seen some his (ghost built) work, and it was fine. I'd also trust Perry's opinions. He's a member here as well.
