I'm usually not a fan of "butcher block"-look natural wood guitars, but that is flat out awesome, bro. The pau ferro neck just kills. By far, that is my favorite fretboard wood. I can only imagine what a full neck of it feels like.

Cheers Pat - I know what you mean about some natural looking guitars seeming a bit 'flat', but Lee sent me the pics of the Koa board and I knew it was gonna look sweet. The full Pau Ferro neck is amazing. It's got a really 'solid' feel, but it's almost like it's been coated in graphite oil. It's just so easy to move up and down the board it's ridiculous. And this is such a loud guitar too - my other Millenium head GMW is loud too, so maybe the head comes into play, but this is notably louder again. Very cool indeed. I've never played a Beach Suhr, but I'd put this up against it for build quality any day of the week. And the rest is just personal taste...

Sweet as a nut, mate. Love it.

I bet it sounds bright though?
All men play on 10. Never gonna turn down again.

                KILLER i love koa guitars.

is the body oil finished too. ive found guitars that dont have hard finishes are louder acoustically.

The body is finished with a light coat of satin, so it's more of a finish than oil, but not as much as a full poly..

Actually no, it's not bright - it's got a very nice combination of warmth and bite. I guess the warmth is from the koa which I guess it's kinda like mahogany(?) and the bite comes from the Pau Ferro. It's a really loud guitar too. I'm fairly sure part of that comes from the extra wood at the headstock, but this is louder than my other Millenium head GMW, so the woods are definitely contributing as well.

Been waiting for this one...looks absolutely amazing, congrats!!! The only thing that keeps it from being perfect is that non-recessed trem

Funny, that's the thing I like most. It's missing a pickup ring though!

That's an easy and reversible addition - a bit of double sided tape and you can even glue some screw heads into the bezel...
