NGD: '92 USA Fender Strat

Hey guys!! just got my first Strat, a 1992 model... I dont know exactly what model it is, but the serial no. is N2 74368. It was dirty and with the action set a bit high, right now I'm working on her. It has the bridge with the blocks instead of the classic version. It's a beautiful wine red finish and a rosewood fretboard. PICS coming, as soon as I finish her. The only thing is that it has a crack on the back of the headstock, which im not sure how to fix... i'll post the pictures if you have any suggestions ;^) It also has the TBX tone control. Got her here in Monterrey, Mexico for the equivalent to 280 dlls.

I REALLY NEED HELP FAST WITH THAT CRACK, BEFORE IT EXTENDS MORE, WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR HELP A LOT

SHOULD I USED DILUTED GLUE IN WATER SO THAT IT ENTERS THE CRACK? OR COULD I USE STAPLES FOR WOOD? WATCHA GUYS THINK?

If it were mine, I'd take it apart, and crazy glue and clamp it until it dries.
