I had a Gary Kramer Delta Wing a few months back. I put a EMG 85/ S pickup combo in it and it was super tight sounding. I liked the whole ergonomic design concept too, but the neck shape was uncomfortable in my hands. It felt fast at first, but was way, way, way too narrow.

They must have replaced the whole body because the Pacer never had a Cavity Control Routings like that.

The back should look like one of these.

        Damn, I love this Interweb.

My Kramer Pacer (85?) is still my favorite guitar. It was my first Floyd equipped guitar. It is still my guitar of choice for live shows, and it's the guitar that I feel the most comfortable with, "at home". I put a Dimebucker in the bridge position and a HS2 in the neck position and switches to set either for series, parallel, and true single coil and I get some great tones with it! I love the feel of the thick unfinished neck, and it's a good solid chunk of wood (a few years later I got a late 80s Focus as a second one because the Pacer model changed and the Focus models most resembled my Pacer. Tapping on the Focus body sounded like balsa wood as compared. Like comparing a real copper penny to a modern zink filled penny as they hit the table. I sold the Focus a few years later because it just didn't compare).
Search my handle at Youtube to see me playing the Pacer! Kramer made some GREAT guitars!

I also have had a few Kramer basses:

a couple Aerostars, and a 89 Forum3/SpectorKramer. all gone now

I like the neck feel enough to put a Kramer maple on my Charvel 575 body and still rock the shit out of it when I'm not using one of my Charvels.

              Here's mine:

Seriously, though, I've had several Kramers, but never had much luck with them. they always sounded muddy to me and had tuning issues with them, to boot.
              I'm not Ron!
