Nope; never liked their designs and the EVH alliance didn't win them any points with me, either.

I got a Striker 600ST for Christmas back in '87. I rocked it for many years. Replaced the POS single-locking Floyd II with a real Floyd, put in a DiMarzio X2N. It sounded pretty good for a plywood guitar.

They're one of the most iconic 80's guitar makes in my book...I'll def pick one up down the road somewhere.

I have a Focus that is very cool (basically a Focus 1000, but it's H/S - Japan-only model). I've always loved that Kramer body shape. Had pictures of EVH with his Kramers on my wall as a kid and never got over them.

i rocked kramer "american" guitars for a few years in the late 80's. i really liked my pro-axe and stagemaster. eventually i sold them and went straight to the source....ESP, haha. i still liked my ibanez guitars of the time A LOT better than the kramer guitars.
                  GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

                  and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

I really liked VH, but once I discovered Randy Rhoads, Ed soon paled in comparison. Once the Dave split happened, and he put out Eat 'Em and Smile and VH did 5150, it was a done deal.

Forgot about my metallic black Kramer Imperial. It got painted by Mike Learn with black/silver skull checkers, but it's still sitting down in the basement and not put back together yet.

I'm a big fan of Kramer guitars. I don't have one at the moment but played a Kramer strat for about 15 years. Nice axe.
