  • Some new additions from Carvin, Robin, and U.S. Masters.

Here are a few of my latest purchases:

US Masters EP with a quilted maple top
US Masters Vector with a flame maple top
    Carvin DC 135, all mahogany
    US Masters Vector, all maple
Robin Medley IV, all swamp ash

The EP is the most comfortable guitar body I've ever played, because of it's size, rounded edges, and deep contours.
All the US Masters come with great sounding pickups (Bill Lawrence I think) stock, Sperzel locking tuners, Wilkinson/Hipshot bridges, and what feels like an asymmetrical neck profile that's very comfortable.

The Carvin is awesome in every way, and like all Carvins, the action can get lower than any other guitar I've ever played and not fret out anywhere. The jumbo frets and fretwork are very nice too.

The Robin is also a dream to play and has a very thin neck with great fretwork also. I'd say it's like a better, USA made, Ibanez for comparison. It has P.J.Marx pickups (which are very nice) and a Kahler trem.
Currently at 78 guitars - Paul Reed Smith, Jackson, Robin, Washburn, Carvin, Peavey, U.S. Masters, G&L, Hamer, Godin, BC Rich, Yamaha, Fender, ESP, Kramer, Cort, Ibanez, Aria Pro & Charvel

Not all of the pickups he's ever made have been the blade style.
These guitars are several years old too, so some models aren't listed on his site any more, and may never have been if they are in fact production models for US Masters.

This is the only other one of it I have.

                    I appreciate everyone's comments.

@ Grandturk - I have one other US Masters Vector in cherry sunburst with a quilted top. They're great guitars with a lot of very innovative features and at the price I paid used, they kill.

If I saw the 5 of those guitars sitting there I would grab the robin first for sure. The dark fingerboard and the wide dots look killer.
