Ok, showed up Friday evening.
Busy over the weekend, but got to play around with it a little.

The color is pearl, Banana taffy yellow.
The neck and body are Maple.
There are 3 (ball point pen head) sized dings on the body edges, 1 tiny chip on the back body edge, and one on the back edge of the headstock. Light scuffing and swirl on the top. No buckle rash on the back.
The board, frets, and hardware are like new.
No wear on the frets at all!
Neck is dead straight and the profile is a fairly thin D.
Fretboard edges could be rolled a little more. IMO

The electronics cav cover was so tight in the rout, that I had to use a circuit board reamer in one of the screw holes, to pry it up. Cav is shielded with copper tape and nothing has been messed with.

It needs a new set of strings and a setup but I plugged it in and the pup sounds great. M22SD.
The electronics are nice and quiet. No pops, hum, or scratchy noises. Coil split works as it should.

Carvin routed for the trem after painting.
Guess they painted them in batches and then routed for whatever trem the customer ordered.
In 89 you could get a Kahler PRO, 2710, OFR, TOM, or a Schaller fixed bridge.
The inside of the top recess rout for the trem is painted flat black.

The case is clean with some light scuffing on the edge near the center hinge.

Hopefully during the week I'll get some time to restring, set up, give it a good cleaning, and takes some better pics.

Anyway, after writing the long winded details,
the short of it is, I'm happy.
