Funny... How different we can be... When thinking of France, these are what comes to mind: surrender, treachery, collaboration (followed by years of denial), chicks with armpit hair that make them look like they have Billy Gibbons in a headlock, A2M, Allo Allo, Agincourt, The Battle of Crecy, that ungrateful twat Charles de Gaulle, Marshall Petain, garlic death breath, priotite de droite, chicks that look like Quasimodo, Gilles de Rais, oh yeah, and not forgetting, white flags.
Sorry people, haven't checked in here for a while.
On the ESP board, I got unbiased opinions that made me lean towards the Jackson. And no I don't care about the ESP M-II cause I played it and I don't like it, I also don't want Dinky's because they are bolt-on. I posted the same thread here just hoping that Jackson buddys knew even more about the Jackson > the more info I get, the better choice I'll make.
@ DonP stay away from my thread if fuck is the only word you know how to use, and get yourself a life... your prejudices about Europe make YOU sound like the actual troll around here...
@ DRM exactly, couldn't find better words ^^
@ laurens I really like people like you, either I have to think exactly like you I have to shove off, is that it ? Come on, do you really think I have never seen the "This is Chris Cannella, product manager and artist realtions manager for Jackson guitars" videos ? I know the Jackson history, and I don't care about it. I care about the actual instrument, and some guitars are better than the Jacksons.
I think this thread is not necessary anymore : I think I will get the Jackson. I played a SL1 (which is supposed to be identical, apart from the pickup configuration), and I already know the Horizon very well, the Jackson's neck seems to fit better into my hands. Anyway I think I'm going Jackson (SL2H, KE2, RR24 & RR24M, I'm gasing around like hell XD) even if they are more expensive, if the extra cash gives extra quality, I'm going for it ^^.
My friend, after giving my opinion I commented on the way you reacted. Read it again, it's not about your opinion but showing some respect. BTW, I can't recall Chris Cannella giving much info on the history of Jackson. Either way, I do agree that in the end it's the quality that matters.
Jackson, without a doubt. Had a SL2H and FR-II at the same time. The FR-II felt cheap and non-responsive. And looks bad when you see it "live"... Go for the Jackson. It's a bit better... at everything.
