Is the set-thru style set further into the body (like a mix of a neck-thru and set-neck) or is it just a carved down heel set neck?

I may be wrong, but I think it's just carved down a bit extra; however, it may need to be set in a bit further to allow for that kind of carve, I dunno. It's obviously strong however it's done, there is a good bit of string tension on that thing.

Cool, I have wondered how they keep the integrity of the neck joint when carving out a set-neck heel, obviously it works, but i didnt think there was that much wood there!
