more pics once it arrives. 80/81 mockingbird shorthorn, koa, maple stringers, wings were dyed. BCRich would do shit like that to hide "imperfections" in the wood.

bichmaker, the center neckthru section on earlier BCR's with stringers seem to be more common with this wider width. with old BCR's there are no set rules but its common, later ones are the opposite where the thinner necks seem to be norm. ive got a few & only one has a thinner center all 82' or older. without stringers the necks are usually thinner, i dont like when the bridge posts are in the stringers, i prefer them in the neckthru section.

THANKS Sully, the last one of these i bought needed to be refunded because the neck was snapped clean in HALF in shipping. sucks to see a 30 year old guitar survive this long only to be destroyed by some jackass in a shipping company.
