I put a lot of playing time on my Gibby's just because they sound so great.
But for the most part my mutts play just as good or better than the Gibby's
I build a lot of parts guitars and honestly they are as good 80% of any high priced guitars out there.
Been playing my Levinsen Blade today and I have to say its just incredible.
          Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Moser, older BCR, then Carvin, GMW, then maybe Lado. Or old school Ibanez Destroyers and Rocket Rolls.

I always wanted a Gunslinger or old Kramer.

I actually prefer Kramers over Charvel-Jacksons. Nothing plays or sounds better than my Baretta 85 reissue - made by Gibson. The DK1 is the best CJ I have owned. I also really liked the Charvel SoCal for the record. But they don't do it for me like my Baretta. I just ordered a GMW guitar and I bought a EBMM JP which is getting delivered today...the question is do I keep the DK1 or sell it to help pay for the GMW custom order? Tough call. I just sold my Charvel Model 4 on Ebay.

The last guitar I bought was an LTD, the only guitar that got me excited me like C/J especially in the 800 dollar price range.

Gibson hands down, I even prefer a les paul for recording rhythms.
I feel festive all year round. Deal with it.

I bought a Schecter Ultra when they were still 24 3/4" scale. Its still in rotation. Its also the only Schecter I would buy again and again. But since they don't make it like that anymore, I would get a custom shop if I had that kind of money. Its the closest I will evercome to a Firebird reverse or otherwise since Jackson won't make one anymore.
