I've always been mainly a BCRich player, ive had some Deans, Hamers, ESP, & still havent owned a Fender & only had 1 Gibby an SG-Z, which didnt last long. To me Charvel/Jackson & BCRich were the Fender & Gibson of Metal. A perfect match & now the 2 brands make up the majority of my collection.

My next choice would be Washburn's, more specific being the Dime 333's. Then again I like the odd shape guitars.

Then again I was fond of that ESP Gus G sig model in the classifieds.

Is there any other brand of guitar...?

I can't vote. All my guitars are Jacksons

B.C. Rich and Ibanez guitars come as close as my Jackson/Charvel's, of course I'm comparing an early '90's Ibanez, a Prestige Ibanez, and an '88 B.C. Rich to my '88 Charvel's.

I'll grab my Bich for drop tuning because the Kahler is easier to change tunings. If I were to buy a new bich, it would be a Moser. BC Rich and Jackson have been my two favorites since they started. I only wish BC Rich could have had a better situation post Bernie.

Still Carvin. Of course, I go to them for my non-guitar needs too.

Not on the list, but Suhr guitars are my go to choice.. they are the closest thing to the Charvel superstrat feel you can get imho

Honestly, I dont know... all Ive ever owned was and is C/J's. Ive played plenty of other guitars, but the ONLY one Ive felt at home on was a Carvin Ultra V... ugly as sin, but played and sounded great.

Gibson. Metal was created on a Gibson. Fender gets a runner up for the HM Strats.

My Gibson Les Paul Custom. Played BC Rich for years, then got into Gibsons. My Custom is my "go to" for drop tunings. Still need to round out the collection with a Standard and an Explorer.
