I never liked the look of Kramer's to be honest. They mostly look kind of... Bleh. Some models look really nice, others are just bleh. Not paint or anything, the shape mainly..
That being said, there's a model with the Sustainer at the neck and pinkish paint job that I like a lot... Not worth $1000 like the store wants, (although, this is the same store that had a Model 5a for $900)

Yup Kramer American guitars were assembled from parts produced by ESP in Japan. Still great guitars. You can buy them all day long for a decent price compared to what an actual ESP costs these days.
