Gentleman what neck would you recommend for use on a KnE body The Warren i am working on doing a white Frenchie to go with my new Crossed Swords.

I'll be curious to see what others might recommend for a replacement strathead neck. But you can get the general specs of the neck from either the Charvel site or Performance site.

From reading the board in the past people have said that Musikraft makes the closest thing to a Charvel replacement neck in terms of feel.

I can't say, because I have never tried one. I've used Warmoth and AllParts before. I liked the AllParts for a tele. The Warmoth was ok, but nothing special.

I used a Charvel USA ProMod neck on mine and I think it came out pretty well for my first time finishing a guitar. (not perfect, but pretty close)







I did have to have Mitch route my Warren body for the corect heel width, but he was fine with it and did a fantastic job.

KnE has a 1 11/16 neck pocket IIRC so I would go allparts or USACG.
I'm working on a star right now sort of a pre pro clone and am using a USACG strat head neck.
I have USACG necks on 2 other clone guitars and feel they are the closest to a SD Charvel neck.

Well i went and bought a 2010 Charvel San Dimas neck now to aquire the body.

Sounds good. When you order your body be sure to call Mitch and see if he'll route the neck pocket to 2 1/4".

He did for me with no problem so I don't see any reason he would not with you.

He makes great bodies. I got the alder version myself, but there are quite a few options on tonewoods. I like how bright the alder sounds personally.

I would like to pick up a couple of his strat bodies to finish in crossed swords and blood/skull in my free time (lol, what is that?) and maybe just keep the bodies hanging around until such time as I come across hardware/necks at a decent price and put them together a bit at a time.

How do you plan to do the graphic?

What are you planning to use for the colorcoats and clearcoats?

Sorry i haven't replied sooner the neck is supposed to be here tomorrow then its off to Mitch to have the body routed for the neck and also fit the Floyd Rose when the body comes back i have a very good friend that is a custom painter who is going to paint it and clear it as well as decal it. ill get some pictures of it as i go along with the build.

guys forgive me for bumping this thread. I am not sure if this is allowed or not. If it isnt I am sorry.

I am looking to build one of these and was hoping I could get some recommendations on where to buy some parts and which neck to buy.

knE alder body, ofr, schaller tuners and a charvel pro mod neck sound about right with the warren pup?

any help is appreciated.....

really trying to figure out without it painted, the cost roughly of this. I am putting some money aside to grab a crossed swords but they seem so expensive for a bedroom player like me!
