I had an 89 I found in a mom and pop music store literally un played still had the plastic on the covers, truss rod cover as well.
Anniversary neck plate too.IIRC I paid 150.00 with OHSC.Trem was a bendmaster deluxe very much like a floyd but strung thru the block like a vintage trem.Solid and stayed in tune.
Sold it for way more than I paid.It was a great high quality guitar.Active pick ups too.Sounded killer

Heh Sweet, i had a westone electra as well, i think it was dark burgundy, and had a black carbon fiber neck or something. I've browsed ebay before just to see if i could find what it looked like again, but have never seen one.
I remember the Pateras? i think that was westone yeah? those were pretty cool too.

It may have been Ebanol?
Epiphone from the late 80's had used it also.Build a man a fire and he's warm for a day, set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life.

It was an electra pretty sure, 1985 to be exact - i was 15 living on the streets and on christmas eve i put a baseball bat thru the store window for it, only put a hole in the window, so i put my arm in and yanked it thru the glass. Lucky for me i didn't chop my arm off (i was wasted) got busted 6 months later, did time and that was the last of my "breaking the law" days.
After all that, the store owner actually forgave me and i felt like dirt and later asked if i could work off the payment for the window painting the shop and sign, and when i moved away he actually gave me the guitar and a case for it, lesson learned and quite humbled me.
