I don't have to do shit, or, in other words, go fuck yourself.

Don't expect me to take MY valuable time to prove that MY advice that I'm giving to YOU for FREE is correct, it's not gonna happen.

If you want to know the neck radius of a Fender guitar, why don't you go to Fender's web site? DUH?

Or if you want to know if your Jackson really has a compound radius, why don't you go to Jackson's web site? Derrrr...

If you have any more dumb-ass questions or comments about specifications that are freely available on the manufacturer's web site that you could get YOURSELF if you weren't so damned lazy I'll let someone else answer them and "convince you that you are wrong."

i found it hard to believe that the information you gave me was correct because i had no idea that you could get that low action without fretting out on a guitar with 9,5" radius.
that's the reason to why i said what i said.

i will check the manufacturers website next time, i promise.

      i apologize and fuck you

Some of the brand new Fenders actually have a compound radius board; though, I'm not sure which models offhand. I've got an '01 Double Fat Strat and really wish it had a compound radius instead of the 9.5" that it does so I wouldn't fret out so much.

Yep. That's what's got me interested in one!

I played one a few months ago and it sounded and played excellent.

                I can't decide between Tungsten/Rosewood or Olympic Pearl/Rosewood.

Also the Deluxe Player's Strats (MIM) are a straight 12" radius. Only 21 frets, though.

My 06 does not have the compund. I believe this started in 09 or 10.

It is brand new for this year.

I am not sure how I found out about it, I think it was back in March or so? They are kind of just now hitting the stores- not to say you wouldn't see one here and there but nobody had very many of them, and they're still sitting on a lot of '09's which don't have the compound radius.

The way you can tell is they dropped the LSR roller nut on the '10 except on the HSS. On the HSS you'd have to check the date. I don't think you'll really "see" the compound radius.

an artist model would have the radius that the particular artist prefers on his guitar. you would have to check the individual specs for each artist model to determine that.
                            GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

                            and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

Not that I know of. I would not be surprised if some of the more "progressive" artists didn't request it as an update at some point, Jeff Beck for example, he does the LSR, solid saddles, locking tuners, contoured heel... You know all that shit the "Leo did it right..." crowd hates.

As an aside, I've played Jackson, Warmoth, Fenders with "contoured heels" and Fender's, despite the simplicity and "Well how would that help?" look of it, actually is REALLY nice!

                                You callin' me out?

I know a lot of the non-Vintage model Strat now have a 9.5" radius which feels pretty good. My Dave Murray has it and along with the jumbo frets its a comfy bendy feeling neck. The Eric Johnson neck has a 12" radius which is just really killer. I love that neck. I think its wider at the nut as well - If I recall correctly, its patterned after his favorite Les Paul rather than his favorite Strat.

That said - I've got a great feeling deep V '54 style 7.5" radius with monster jumbo frets that is super fast and comfy.

Speed and bending ability have more to do with setup and fretwork than the fretboard radius, IMO.
