I found a sight that still lists the selling price of a ps4 as 429 base and add 50 for flame top. cases are about 100 or more. The closest guitar that jackson has now is the DX10 and now that price with some upgrades in hardware sells for 480. The special lists at 1200 back then. The special had to sell for almost double the ps4, you can't even compare the 2.

429+50 (trans green)+100=579
mississippi state sales tax .07%
579 x .07= 40.53
579+40.53=619.53, which is about $600 with case
yeah the wolfgang was better, after I changed the hardware in my ps-4 it was great, just as alll MIJ jackson are, so if you add the money in to change pups(150),Gotoh tuners(40), and add a GOTOH floyd (140), I had some moeny in the guitar,
and living in the great state of Mississippi you can get GREAT deals on Peavey gear
