    NGD - Ibanez 2010 Ltd RG

    Hey all, just got my first Ibanez, because I hate them I actually went to the store to buy some strings but I saw this thing on the wall and I haven't put it down since! The feel is nice and heavy and I can get some killer 80's shred tones out of it. Dimarzio d-activator in the bridge and air norton single in the neck. The pictures don't do justice to the colour, but it's candy apple red metallic and it look great in person.

        Not quite. It's a 465M. Apparently they are testing the waters for a 565 run. This puppy is only available in Europe.

            So being a 465 makes it made in korea? Those are sweet. I kinda wish they had left the past in the past. I love these old guitars, in fact i love old ibanez's. I've owned many like the early jems and a ton of pre lo-pro RG's as well. It's just the re-issues look nice, but don't have the same feel as the old ones and they are kinda ruining the older models. If you want a 565, hunt down them down online and own a piece of history with great quality and some pedigree. On the other hand, i love that these are an alternative to the other crap they had from korea. They seem to be a step up, especially with the bridge loosely based on the original edge trem. Anyways, nice guitar for sure. Jackson guys don't usually dig Ibanez's. I don't roll with one gang, i'm the UN - i represent

              The RGR465M is a RG series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez as part of the 2010 Limited Edition series. It is based on the 1991-1992 classic RG565. The RGR465M features a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a reversed headstock and maple fingerboard with dot position markers which match the body color. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a D Activator humbucker at the bridge and a single coil-sized Air Norton S humbucker at the neck and an Edge III double l

                that is killer!!!! i always liked the 565...
                GEAR:

                some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

                some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

                and finally....

                i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

                  ewwwwww. I was giving them way too much credit. The last Korean Ibanez i picked up wasn't too bad. RGT42. Nice neck-thru. Just had shitty pick ups. I guess i should try one before judging. I don't like change... :P

                    Awesome guitar! I really want one... I got the RG350M last year and really like it. Mine is also made in Indonesia (and I don't care!!!). I put a pair of Dimarzio in mine (ToneZone+Evo) but the RG465M already comes with Dimarzio.

                    But sadly, I spent too much on gear this year and will have to pass on this one...

                      That's what I thought when I picked it up, as I said I've never owned an Ibanez up untill now. It does feel pretty solid and I like the pickup combination.
