Ibanez RGR 421exfm/ Hamer Vector V

Alright, after months of researching for a budget project guitar I have narrowed my decision down to these 2 guitars: Ibanez RGR421exfm/ Hamer Vector V. Out of the 2 which would you go for? I'm adding a J90c bridge pickup and a undecided duncan, or dimarzio for the neck. Also adding CTS pot and caps.
Specs Ibanez= mahogany,24fret,maple top, wizard II neck, 25.5 scale, hardtail.
Hamer= Alder, 22fret, maple top, 24.75 scale, string through body.

Most of the time these projects are a result of getting something to
tool around with and tweaking to taste.
Don't think I've actually ever thought about it much in advance.
By the time you pour the bux into the parts and pieces you might as
well buy something very close to the guitar you are "trying" to build
and tweaking from there.
