My GMW guitar project.

Lee Garver sent me some pics last night...going to paint phase. Very impressed with the work so far. It's obviously a plain Charvel/Kramer styled shredder...wanted a killer custom but wanted to keep costs low. That's a Dimarzio SD, gold hardware, color is metallic blue burple - it's a blue/purple custom color.

Lee has been great to work with. Looking good!!!

I moved the volume pot down a bit - it's also a coil tap, for no additional charge I figured why not. Add a little versatility to the guitar. I love the 3D millenium headstock.

Thanks, man. I think it's gonna be killer all painted and dressed up in gold. Lee is the man. What a job that guy has, huh? I'll post more pics as I get them.

Man, those abalone dots look killer! Really vivid color in them. Seems they'll look great with the "burple" I have in my head. Just curious, what's gonna be on the headstock? Abalone logo would look amazing with the color and inlays.

Headstock is going to be the same burple color with the gold GMW logo on it. Yes, I agree, the dots are awesome and will really match the metallic burple. I went back and forth with him about dot placement, originally I was going to do side dots like you see on some Jackson's, the DKMG, for example, but after discussion and further thought, we decided to keep it traditional. I'm glad we did.
