  • LTD GL-500T - This seems high with a headstock repair

    What do you guys think?

I'm getting an itch to pick up some GL ESP's, but it seems like it's not going to happen since I'm not paying Les Paul prices for a real one.

Yeah that price blows. I'd hold out for the non-LTD version!

I'd be hard pressed to pay any amount of money for an LTD. Go ESP or go home.

I've got the GL200MT (I upgraded every part on it besides the body and neck) and it smokes! I think I paid $315 for the axe and $100 in parts. I'd just find a GL200MT and mod the heck out of it.
          Here's a pic of mine-

You have to cherry pick on those 200's. My dealer has had about 6 of those go through his shop and about 4 of the six had finish issues around the trem cavity. That said they are inexpensive and not terrible.

That is the only way to go on these cherry pick and find the best one then do the upgrades.I would change to an ESP logo too just for looks.

Sorry, but I hate the headstock on the GL200MT. It would need a new neck.
