The most evil guitar ever!
Some might remember that I used to own a pink pearl RR that I stupidly sold and then my family started hating me. I've tried to find the right replacement ever since without luck. But now I got something that matched the criteria.
This guitar was one of several prototypes for the upcoming Amfisound LP style guitar. It was never truly finished and just taking space at the custom shop so I had to come to the rescue. I told Tomi that I wanted to complete it to my color choice and then I could assemble it myself. I had most of the parts ready so this was a really fast project.
24 frets, long scale, slighty downsized and chambered mahogany body with maple top, mahogany neck with ebony board. Two Duncan JBs. Very lively and loud acoustic sound that kicks ass when amplified.
The color is pink pearl but due to lack of light you don't really see the effect of the pearl in the pics.
I have to add that those Planet Waves tuners really are easy when changing strings. I don't think I've ever managed to put strings on a guitar that fast.
And finally here's a video with it...
