  • My Friend's Buy-Back program

I sold my 88' Jem 77FP a couple years ago to a close friend who worshipped Vai and Jems. The "flower guitar" was always my daughter's fav. Well now it's coming back home. Just in time to cure my GAS pains. I pick it up Saturday. I will hang it on the wall again AND hang on to it this time.

I've had a 1990 7PBK and a 1988 Jem 777sk with hand rest. Best guitars ive ever had. Mind you my 1989 rg 550 is about 80% the guitar my jems were, but for 20% the price. Eventually il get one again, and i really want an FP. They are the perfect blend between modern and old school, unless its pre 93 or whenever they started putting the lo pro on there. I love the style, feel and tone (especially the original dimarzio paf pros before the evos came out).

    git er done

In college I was a big Vai fan and always wanted the VBK. I never had the cash. By the time I decided to get a Jem, this one surfaced. I owned it for a few years then let the joy of ownership get passed along to my buddy. Now he's sending the joy my way again.
I used to gig with 3 guitars and this JEM was #2 until I got my Model 7 upgraded. Afterwards, I kept the JEM safe at home.

If I was to ever own a JEM, it would be the 20th anniversary edition with the lucite body, LEDs and the colored ribbons of lucite in the body.

              Just beautiful.
