Carvin makes good stuff. I briefly owned a DC127. It was a good guitar but the stock pickups did nothing for me and I didn't want to spend money on it improving it (it was an impulse buy) and actually sold it for more than I paid for it.

I now own a V3, which is a good amp for the money.

I actually am supposed to be selling it this weekend. I'll replace it with something, no doubt.
Since my other guitar player moved out of his apartment and his ball & chain doesn't want it in their new house. I have no space or use for it, so it's going. I'll probably get my greedy hands on a 6505+, 6534+, JVM or Dual Recto.
        I like EL34s.

2002 SC90 which was an In-Stock purchase from their website. It's now got creme DiMarzios... a Super Distortion and Super 2. It's a swamp ash body with maple neck-thru/maple board, in Classic White. It's also now got two more volume and tone pots in place of the two coil tap switches, and it's also got a DiMarzio "Petrucci" toggle switch to get the inner coils working together while in the middle position, plus turning off either volume control while in the middle position gives you single coil tones from either pup.

I also used to own a DC400 and a DC120 12-string. And I've got a V3 amp head which is killer. I'm also about to order a DC727 7-string with just one pickup.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Not really. I've only ever seen one. Maybe two.

Is that Vintage Yellow? I'm most likely going to be getting that color on my 7-string, with a maple body and mahogany or koa neck. Still haven't decided whether I want rosewood, maple or an ebony board, though.

Thanks. I've never tried a CT6, but they look sweet and get great reviews over at the Carvin Forum.

Yes, they come with two coil splits, and you can get a phase switch added. You can also choose to have no switches, one coil split switch, or just a phase switch.
If you order the active electronics, you get four controls plus the two coil split switches and a phase switch. You have your regular volume and tone, and the volume control pulls up to turn the active bass and treble controls on.
