50's tribute L.P's

Crap these are getting expensive!
Its a studio too I was about to drop $849 for one but I wanted the sunburst one but it's $1250 same guitar as the black or white that's insane.
I've wanted a P-90 L.P for some time but not a studio for $1250.
People are buying these and putting them up on ebay and getting ridiculous prices.

Are you talking about the new run that Gibson's making?

Yes the new run.I know they are only making 800 of each so a limited thing but honestly 1200 for the sunburst is just too high a price.
Satin finish with very little clear coat.so not a very fancy paint job.
I would be tempted to scrape the sides of the maple cap to create a sort of binding and shoot some clear on it then buff it out so its shiny.
