Will S. (metalhead28) had a thread of this build in 08 some of you may not have seen it.
Well today I took the 3 1/2 hr drive to go pick it up.Well worth the drive indeed.
Will was kind enough to sign and date the back of the headstock as well as add the serial number P2.It being his second prototype.
Will is a great guy and builds a sweet guitar not only to look at it plays like a dream as well.
Thanks Will for a fantastic guitar.
Here it is with some "heavy metal".

Wood cavity and truss rod covers and pick up rings are a classy touch.

Ok did a pick up swap tonight and want your opinions pro or con.
Put in a Duncan APH1 set Alnico II's work really well not that the DCC and Jazz didn't sound great.
                Ok guys have at it.

Well any way I expect some ribbing for the wrong pic but I would like your opinions.
Not sure I will leave it this way just had to see how the zebras looked.

IMO, because the grain of the zebrawood (?) runs along the length of the guitar, I think that the zebra pickups sort of distract from the streamlined look of the guitar.

You said that he started building this in 2008 and you picked it up yesterday. It didn't take him 3 years to build this guitar though, right?

No this one he built in 08.
I feel the same way kind of breaks up the lines

congrats on a beautiful guitar. I remember following the build of this guitar... I'm usually not a fan of 3x3 headstocks on strat shaped bodies, but this is an exception!
I still keep practicing though.... Mostly because I hate my neighbors.-MakeAJazzNoiseHere

Wow, that guitar is just lovely. Fantastic looking, for sure. Definitely keep the black pickups in there.

Sweet guitar! I'm normally a fan of zebra pups, and I think they work in this guitar, but I think the black look a little better.
