I remember this axe. Love the headstock.

I don't like the zebra pickups or the black. Maybe double cream, maybe an Iommi (solid covered) or EMG like. Something steamlined would look better IMO, not exposed bobbins.

I did the same thing with mine and decided I like a zeb on my zeb.

Yours has a lighter shade almost like limba.

I would go with the black pickups. Just looks better to me, I can't really explain why. I love the wood pickup rings but I would have liked to see the grain heading up/down instead of across.

Thanks for every ones input.The APH1's sound incredible I hate to take them back out but I like the black bobbins beter.

Naw toe I'll put the other Duncans back in keep it simple until I find a black set.

Swapped em' back, found a black APH-1 set just have to find the time to go get them.
