Dean USA Necks compared to Charvel Necks?

Recently I've been checking out some of the original early '80s USA Deans, and am wondering what you guys think of them quality wise, and how their necks compare to Charvel or Jackson necks. I've never had the opportunity to play a USA Dean, played a few import razorbacks, they sounded nice but I couldn't get use to the necks at all. Hopefully they had a different neck profile back then

I'm pretty sure all the old USA Deans had a V backshape to the neck. I haven't ever played a USA, but I know a few of the people on the Dean forum preferred the imports, because they had a standard C profile. Definitely try before you buy. Also, I've never played any of the razorbacks, so I'm not sure what neck profile they have.

MY 81 has a very very small neck yes it has a V shape as well.Not sure what the neck width is at the nut but its narrower than any C/J
I have an 08 79/ML and it has a nice C shape.
