  • Epi LPC

Got this a while back, went through it the past few weeks and got her sounding and playing real good. It had maybe 5 high frets I leveled, Graphtec saddles and Dimarzio SD and Pafpro. It's called Antique Ivory, not Alpine White. Very nice player with low action and pretty beefy sound, only wish it had the ebony board.

You do know Stew Mac has that dye that you can stain the fretboard with? I have a bottle but I never got up the balls enough to open it

If you do use that dye, be careful of the imitation MOP. It may stain it. I know it will stain the binding and you will have to scrape it clean.

If it's the same as the crap used on my BC Rich, be ready to have black fingers after every time you play it

I wouldn't dye, I like the smoothness of it. Anyone ever buff a rosewood board to super smoothness?

Nice looking Epi do the GT saddles darken the tone much?
I tried them on a tele and didn't care for the tone much so I went back with the brass.Bet they sound great on a Paul.
I would just oil the board no need to dye it.Looks great as is.
              Really? well screw Mark Twain.

I just took a whack at my rosewood board with some micro mesh 12000. Came out pretty good.
