I really liked my Red Retro Gunslinger (w/ neck pickup).
I've never played an original, so I couldn't tell you much about them against one another. But I will tell you that for the price you can get a new one for ($400 W/ case on BCRP), that is one hell of a deal for the amount of guitar you get.
The original Gunslingers though are some THE COOLEST guitars around. Always look like they've been played hard. Its rare to find a "NOS" Gunslinger condition wise, so I figure they were too good to put down

Larry was this one Rick's? Can't remember  Really cool
Yup it was. There is debate as to whether it is a Nagel or not. There is also debate as to whether it is a Gunslinger or not. Whatever she is, she rocks!

I had a pile of them. They made me aware of what a truly good neck feels like. There are a couple in this thread they *may* have been mine at one time.
Im so jealous of this guitar I feel like crying. Same with several other up above. I had a gray/black crackle with maple that I loved. Threw and EMG 81 in there and for some reason added a tone knob. I got rid of it YEARS ago because the trem posts started to break thru the wood into the trem cavity. WOW that fretboard was fast.

Thanks, Guitarzan_Josh... i ordered it back in 1989...Got lucky enough to have Dan Lawrence do the graphic. Supposedly one of the very last guitars out of the factory before they sold out to ClassAxe.
