Thank You Straycat, I didn't know if you can really see it good from my pics, but the body, back of the neck and the entire headstock are covered in little dots. Keith Roscoe told me they achieved this by making a high resolution print of the dots, then floating them on a vat of water. then dipped the painted guitar into the vat then a drying process then clear coated.

I remember the magazine ads back in the 80's with the "Death Plays a Roscoe" theme. I probably still have that ad in one of the old mags.

I wish I had a pic of my old Dr Death Roscoe, back then I didn't take pics of guitars.

Yea, I know what you mean Straycat. back during the early 80's i had a 74 Les Paul standard that i never took a pic of. But i will have another Les Paul maybe not a 74, but a LP none the less. if anyone could find an approximate value on this roscoe i might ebay it and sell it. or try to see if i can do some trading for a decent LP

Hey Anthony7, Thanks for the link, I had searched all over for Roscoe guitars, including collections and every possible combinations and never got a hit like that. Are you a wizard?

Yep. There was also Robin Guitars and I *think* they were made in Houston, but I'm not sure. A music store near me had a used Robin about 10 years ago.

GOOD 80s rock guitars. i know where there is anew old stock Roscoe strat with maple neck, graphic finish, kahler/floyd, reverse headstock, been hanging in the same music store for nearly 20 years -- the damn shop owner WILL NOT drop price on it, and no one is willing to shell out big bucks for it

                        nice guitar tho....

That Roscoe LP is KILLER! Love the pickup configuration on it, my favourite

Thanks Metal, I love the tone this guitar has. and the neck feels very close to a Jackson, not really fat but not too thin either, and it's fast.

Hey Rocco, Thanks Man. I bought her about 13 years ago in Winston Salem N.C. at Camel Pawn I saw it, played it and fell in love. I managed to get it for 12 hundred which i thought was a steal. do you remember the price on that one by chance?

I had a Roscoe Tracy Lords graphic.. I bought as New Old Stock from a store here in Detroit around 10 years ago.. I sold it and it's made it's way back to Ebay a few times. A really nice guitar..VERY well built, just hated the Kahler..
