05 explorer day and wow what a great guitar.
Always loved a basic black explorer.498 in the bridge and BB2 in the neck,RS kit was already in there so good to go.

I had a 78 and the neck was huge this one is much slimmer and plays so easy.Great sounding guitar really vibrates like a mofo.
Lots of wood makes a difference.

How's the fretwork?

All Explorers I've played so far seems to be plagued with uneven frets or sticky feeling spots on the neck
