For reasons I have yet to ascertain I recently found myself stricken with a slight case of Les Paul G.A.S., which would be somewhat akin to saying that the deer I saw on the side of the road the other day found itself recently stricken with a slight case of oncoming truck. So, armed with the knowledge that I am not a wealthy man meaning that getting anything Gibson was pretty much out of the question, I made the rounds and checked out all the Epiphones and ESP/LTD's and pretty much anything remotely LP shaped I could find and after reading and watching who knows how many reviews I decided to try my luck and grab an Agile. For the most part the reviews were almost redundantly similar, yet pretty much spot on in saying that these are great guitars for the money. I must admit, this guitar exceeded all my expectations in terms of how it looks, plays and sounds. I was fully expecting an immediate pick-up swap, but thus far I like it as is, so I think I'll leave it stock for a while and see how that goes. Still gotta give it a few days to finish settling in before I tweak the setup a bit, but other than that it played really well out of the box. Overall I'm quite pleased and wouldn't be at all surprised if I wind up with another one of these eventually.
