  • George Lynch Super V

Anyone on this forum own or have played a ESP LTD George Lynch GL600 Super V. I purchased one of these in perfect shape with the matching hard shell case 3 years ago and maybe played it 5 minutes. What do you think:it is made out of lightweight mahogany, neck thru made from mahogany screamin demon and Phat cat pickups. Tone pros bridge and Sperzel locking tuners.

this almost reads like an ad.

i always thought it looked like a melted half assed Rhoads rip off. probably sounds and plays fine as higher end LTD's usually do.

fucking ugly (says the guy with a Roswell Rhoads... oh well glass houses)
In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil

Didn't even know he had a "Super V" guitar. Does he call everything that? A Super V Randall MTS module, Eminence Super V speakers, SD Super V pickup, anything else? Going a bit nuts with the name if you ask me..

Yea that's why I posted this guitar on here I never here of anyone talking about one or seeing one on here. George being a 80's metal icon, I would've thought that I would read more about it. I am afraid to get a fingerprint on it.

I wouldn't worry about getting finger prints on it, it's not a guitar that's likely to go up in value. The reason they don't make them anymore is because no one bought them. I don't think I've even see Lynch play one beyond a promo picture. Play it, enjoy it.

I was on my way home from the hospital (guess the anesthesia hadn't wore off yet) and walked in the nearby guitar shop and droppedOuch! that hurt even worse than the kidney stone extraction. LOL
