    As Hetfield would say...... EET......

    FUK

    Well I got this 1984 Gibson from a JCF buddy. It's in great condition and just waiting for someone like me to do something crazy...... yeah right. Well, I've had some ideas on refinishing it, but it seems everywhere that I post this, the one phrase that keeps coming up is EET FUK. So, even though the EEK FUK explorer was an ESP, would you go that route for the guitar or try something different?

    do something original. don't be another hetfield copycat. get it refinished in some awesome GMP style sparkle flames!!! if you aren't into that, think of something original that conveys your personality. fuck hetfield!!!
    GEAR:

    some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

    some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

    and finally....

    i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

      Cool - that's the first.... I was thinking Lake Placid Blue or maybe get a Mike Learn Warbird. Solid colors I can do myself and save $$$

                          Ok - decided on a metallic blue top, white binding, black sides and back with gold hardware. Look for a build thread in the Tech Q/A in the next few weeks.

                              Yeah, that was Fernandes Strat with a Floyd and a Charvel neck (Musician's Friend sold them for $135) and an EMG SA set and it said "Edna" on the headstock.

                              As near as I can tell Kirk denies its existence today, and pretends his "hamstercaster" was an ESP the whole time.
