Got up real early today and checked out my local Craigslist for some deals.
After a long drive over an hour away I managed to score a sweet '82 Les Paul Standard for a little over a grand.
Got home and tore it apart to fully clean it up and much to my delight saw that it had two OEM Tim Shaw PAF's! Sweet yet very powerful pickups that are so well balanced too!
It's a player yes but good God it's also a keeper too!
And to think that UPS is delivering my 2002 Les Paul Standard tomorrow!
Damm! I have gone two decades without owning a Les Paul and I will have two on the wall in less than 24 hours! How sweet is that?
