Well, after much much drama (see my post in non-jackson related section) I have a new guitar day!
Got this budget guitar with expensive features in trade. It's a Drive Wildfire X2. Kind of a metallic pearl color, set neck with contoured heel (looks like a neck through), carved top, rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, bound neck, hum-hum with 3-way toggle switch, single volume and single tone. Unique shape, kind of like a cross between an SG and a Parker maybe.
I pulled out the stock pickups and put in a set of Dragonfire 81/85 active pickups (and the corresponding electronics.)
All-in-all the guitar plays and feels nice. Has some buzz since I replaced the strings.
Looks and feels like an expensive guitar for sure.
Have some plans for minor upgrades...if I ever get some money lol
