Ive always been a BCRich guy. For years ive been working on owning 1 maple & one Koa of each of the original shapes. for a long time its been almost complete, the missing peice a koa bich. i had a koa winged 10 string for a bit but it wasnt the greatest player, & to me if it dont play good its not worth owning. finally i found one, Koa neck & wings, seems all original and pretty clean, now the waiting.

Great score for you, but I agree the electronics give me a headache just looking at them. What are they set-up to do?"I have so much gayness at times. My wife walks in my music room, and there I am, in my undies, listening to "Sister Christian" while lighting fireworks..doin' blow." - Bill Z
"I leave off the back plate and pinch my forskin between the tension springs. That may not work for everyone. But I find that the people love it. Half the tone is in the pud." - Bill Z

The secret to mine (homebrew)...which is all passive, is the switches #8 and #9 described as
"dual sound".
Set mine to "Off", single coil to the amp...and then when I want "boost" flip them up and it
gives a great lead or a chunky rhythm.
Used to adjust to them "On", and when switching "Off" got a horrible thin wimpy sound.
I tried some tone options but the tone went away, so I went with raw pickup sounds
with just the phase/split/single options.
Dimarzio PAF bridge, GOK Kramer (I think it's an SD) neck.
I will get a real one someday...I get passionate thus the hijack.Last edited by Cygnus X1; 07-14-2011, 07:48 PM.
